ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kelly Mackenzie Sinclair was born in England in 1995, moving to Edinburgh, Scotland before she was two. She graduated from a Foundation course at Newbury College in 2015 before beginning a Fine Art BA (Hons) at Solent Southampton University.
Her practice, politics and personal life are deeply intertwined. Her work is predominantly inspired by her own personal history, exploring childhood, relationships, experiences with sexual violence and relationships with food and the body. The practice spans drawing, writing, giving and destruction.
She is currently based in Southampton, England, living with friends and waiting for the day she can finally afford a cat.
